TRASH:
· All trash should be placed in a trash can. Trash that is solely in a plastic trash bag is unacceptable and will not be picked up.
· Trash is picked up on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Recycling is picked up on Thursdays. Trash should be placed to the curb the night before trash is to be removed. Once the trash is picked up, all containers and recycle bins shall immediately be stored out of sight.
SCOOP YOUR POOP & LEASH LAWS:
· Scooping your dog (s) waste is an absolute must! This is not only a health issue, but a Montgomery County law as well. This very serious situation is being closely monitored and fines of up to $100 per occurrence will be incurred!
· It is imperative that dog (s) remain on leashes at all times! This is a safety issue as well as a Montgomery County law.
PARKING:
· According to an amendment to Fairland Acres Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions; Article VII, Section 8 states “No commercial truck or other vehicle having a greater than one (1) ton load capacity or with lettering or signage on the outside or having a ladder rack or other commercial equipment attached, camper truck, boat, trailer, or other recreational vehicle shall be parked overnight on any Lot (except in an enclosed garage), the Common Area or any street adjoining any Lot or Common Area.” Violations will be subject to towing.
· Article VII, Section 9 is amended as follows: “No vehicle, boat, or trailer shall be parked anywhere on a Lot except on the driveway or within the enclosed garage.”
* Parking on the grass is considered a violation of the Associations Covenants,.
EXTERIOR STORAGE:
· There is to be no exterior storage of debris on a lot that can be visible from the road. Examples of such debris would be; firewood, mulch chips, bicycles, old tires, toys, etc.
· Storing debris in a manner that is visible from the road on your lot is considered a violation of the Associations Covenants, and can be subject to fines.
EXTERIOR CHANGES:
· Please remember that before you make any exterior changes you are required to submit an Architectural Change Application.
· Examples of some exterior changes are: decks, patios, storm doors, outdoor lighting, landscaping. Please call the Management Company for other questions.
· When submitting your application please include a plat of your property with placement of addition, sketches, photographs, color samples, brochure, etc. This will eliminate the possibility of a delay and help the Committee gain a better picture of the changes you intend to make to your home.
